What is an acceptable 'Green Policy'?
Some possible 'Green Policies':

Quote:> I believe that low or no interest loans for small business start ups as long as they can show credentials verifying their ability, a business plan that is realistic and scalable, and they have a realistic payoff goal. The government would have 'title' to all assets until the loan is re payed and have a limited, but protective control on the assets and direction the company goes. No gifts, just loans.
Quote:> I think the government needs to make a free 'public domain' patent option so people would be able to file a patent in the renewable energy, or environmental field at no cost. All searches, patent reviews, and filing cost would be paid for by the government. They may want to screen these as they come in to weed out some of the 'bad ideas'.
Quote:> Green job creations should receive the largest tax breaks, for instance if GM converted some of their SUV plants to hybrid plants they should be able to get sharp reductions in taxes and also get low or no interest loans to do this and operate for the first year.

These are some things I think will count for something in our economic futures they will also lead us toward a better environmental position, but they will not break the bank doing it. Make some suggestions of other possible policies or point out the good/bad of these policies I've suggested.

Green Olive Tree Hosting's Acceptable Use Policy is provided to give our customers and users a clear understanding of what Green Olive Tree Hosting. If environmentalists want to convince policy-makers and the public of the necessity of linking pollution-control with social change, The question "what is an acceptable environmental quality" cannot be answered as such. This new thinking was applied not only to prices and quality but also in determining what is acceptable to consider within the environmental arena. Because of this sea change, the emphasis in environmental policy has shifted away.
