why should we vote for obama?
I've got a question for Obama supporters. over the weekend when i was with friends we starting to talk about politics. i had a republican friend say something I've not heard. she said 'Obama never votes. he only roll calls and doesn't yea or nay against bills.' now i went to the senate.com and looked into through past bills and i begin to find that he DOES mostly seem to 'not vote' on bills and motions. it seems like he would not be good at making decisions. Im asking why do we want a president who didn't vote and seems indecisive while in the senate? please reply with your thoughts.

I attended an Obama Rally today...

He discussed his plan to allow Americans 5 days to vote for or against a bill online, allowing every voice to have a say. I think he understands how much of this country is left unaccounted for and would rather not be a single voice when other ways exist.

What????

This from a guy who supposedly studied the law as a Constitutional Attorney? Has he READ the damn document. There is a reason that we have Representatives in Congress. And before you tell me about how we are a Dmocracy, let me help you out, we have NEVER been a Democracy but a Representative Republic. Read the document before writing such silliness.

thats cool. i didnt hear about that and its a good idea, but what about my question, does the fact that obama not voting on several bills in a row make him seem indecisive or what? do you think that someone, with limited about of time in big government and didnt utilize all that time to vote, deserve to the the president? i mean dont get me wrong. i didnt look at every bill the past 3 years and count how many his voted vs not voting. but i looked at a random 30 or 40 and saw alot he didnt vote on.

Well there's a reason for that. He doesn't have much of a history beyond three years ago.

and thats why i said i didnt go back ALL three years worth of bills he has been able to vote on....i never said he had history beyond 3 years....

i know all about this crap. and its all crap. just some stuff you republicans always say cause you cant come up with anything new....

wright... so his pastor got all crazy and ****. oh no! he called him a long legged macdaddy! rofl. thats not to bad...sure he said crap about damn america and ****. but its not like obama can control what he says and you sure as hell havnt heard anything else from him since then. just cause wright says it doesnt mean obama believes it.

rezko... so he and obama bought some houses next to each other? so he worked with a law firm that just happened to also work with rezko's company... so what? sure he was accused of wire fraud, bribery, money laundering but its not like obama was sitting there handing them money to play with!

ayers... this one is the funniest to me. when ayers was a weatherman in the 60s and 70s obama was a child. during the attempted bombings that ayers was accused and never found guilty of, obama was 8! omg obama is blowing **** up!! rofl. the only real connection is that ayers and obama were both on the ethnic board of chicago. or whatever it was called. and ayers gave a 200 dollar contribution to obamas campaign. woooo thats so #$@#$! bad!!!

why dont you try talking about my original post. or is it that you dont want me to see some other crappy bills that mccain has voted for???

What Flavor IS the Kool-Aid?

i know all about this crap. and its all crap. just some stuff you republicans always say cause you cant come up with anything new....

=====>It's not crap, and unfortunately it's nothing new either...But let's take this point by point shall we?

wright... so his pastor got all crazy and ****. oh no! he called him a long legged macdaddy! rofl. thats not to bad...sure he said crap about damn america and ****. but its not like obama can control what he says and you sure as hell havnt heard anything else from him since then. just cause wright says it doesnt mean obama believes it.

=====>Ok the problem isn't that Wright said stuff that Obama can't control. It is that he has had a long, personal and spiritual relationship with this racist, that's right, racist. Now imagine, for a moment, that McCain was running around with David Duke of the KKK. Wouldn't that cause you to question his judgement? You are who your friends are. Obama had been sitting in this church for 20 years listening to this racist diatribe. You don't stay in a church like that accidentally. Even Oprah Winfrey left the church years ago because of Wright. Even she recognized the racist comments he was putting out. And by the way this wasn't merely a "slip of the tongue" either. These episodes were on the DVD that was being sold by the church.

rezko... so he and obama bought some houses next to each other? so he worked with a law firm that just happened to also work with rezko's company... so what? sure he was accused of wire fraud, bribery, money laundering but its not like obama was sitting there handing them money to play with!

=====>Again, his association with a white-clloar criminal leads to his poor judgement. He hangs around and does business with guys who actively break the law. Ask yourself if McCain was hanging around with folks like Rezko wouldn't that make you question his ability to choose friends. YOU ARE WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE.

ayers... this one is the funniest to me. when ayers was a weatherman in the 60s and 70s obama was a child. during the attempted bombings that ayers was accused and never found guilty of, obama was 8! omg obama is blowing **** up!! rofl. the only real connection is that ayers and obama were both on the ethnic board of chicago. or whatever it was called. and ayers gave a 200 dollar contribution to obamas campaign. woooo thats so #$@#$! bad!!!

======>Maybe you don't get it. What if McCain was on a committee with someone like, someone that bombed a church in Selma Alabama and killed a group of children because they were black? I mean it's not like McCain helped light the fuse for the bomb right? But you would have to SERIOUSLY question his ability to choose whom he works with. Ayers is an unrepentant terrorist. Plain and simple. YOU ARE WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE.

why dont you try talking about my original post. or is it that you dont want me to see some other crappy bills that mccain has voted for???

=====>I can only presume that you are either very uneducated, drunk, high, bleeding internally and suffering from signs of severe shock or just another drinker of the Obama-flavored Kool-Aid.

What does the Kool-Aid tast like anyways?

DO NOT BE LEMMINGS! It's not 'just' Obama who scares me... it's all of the people behind him. YOU ALL NEED TO VIEW LOUIS FARRAKHAN's (American leader of the nation of Islam) RECENT VIDEO ABOUT THE MESSIAH, OBAMA. This scares the crap out of me.

VOTE NO FOR SOCIALISM! DO NOT LET OUR COUNTRY BECOME A SOCIALIST NATION. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR... YOU MIGHT JUST GET IT.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”
Quote by George Santayana

Look at Hitler's campaign early on, it didn't blatantly support fascism. The Nazis promised to clamp down on Big Business and end the class struggle (sounds familiar). It appealed to the young most, they thought they would fight the evil bourgeois and establish a youth dominated culture. The uprising of the poor and beaten down, crushed by the evil corporations and industrialist (again, sounds familiar). Along with the youth idea, the NAZIs would use a slight of hand trick, accusing their opponents of fascism; evil creatures who hoped only to increase the wealth gap and control the downtrodden proletariat. Hitler gained the young and the old alike with idealism.

The biggest similarity is the idea of Nationalism and Socialism. Americans are naturally nationalists, and it is a good side to appeal to. Also, Obama is in favor of many socialist initiatives. So, it would be appropriate to call Obama a NAZI (an advocate of National Socialism). Bring on the thumbs down.

Careful...if Obama is elected you might be one of the ones "re-educated".

Ahhh yes... the re-education camps. I can see them now. I'll be sent there by one of the Obama youth.
